Vehicle Modifications, Sunshine Coast
Vehicle modifications are varied and can include those changes to a vehicle to allow a person with disabilities or injuries to drive independently, and also to allow for the easy transportation of mobility equipment.
Modifications can include hand controls, left foot accelerator, basic spinner knobs, electronic spinner knobs (integrated with the vehicles electrical systems), seating modifications, self opening/closing boots, adjustments to handbrakes and gear shifts, and wheelchairs and mobility scooter hoists.
Some funding is available toward these modifications for eligible applicants via the VOSS, or CAEATI schemes
